This Engine is a proven purebred race combination. The 347 Ford Stroker engine is the perfect option for the Mustang and other Ford Vehicles with 302 c.i.d. (5.0 Liter) engines. At 347 c.i.d. and no exterior dimensional changes, this engine is a bolt-in ready-to-go engine combination. With increased cubic inches, increased compression ratio, and a variety of workable cam and cylinder head combinations, this engine is a great way to add horsepower to your race car or performance vehicle while staying within the weight range of a stock 302 engine.
The short block is a seasoned 302 c.i.d. block that has been thermally cleaned, bored, honed, and line bored. This engine is also balanced, decked, and built in our own facilities. Prior to completion as a long block, an aluminum stud girdle is added to strengthen the block during high RPM's.
